Whether we are working with schools or organizations that service schools, our work focuses on the improvement of culture and climate with a particular emphasis on social and emotional learning/emotional intelligence. We stay current on the latest research in these fields but try to focus on making this research digestible and actionable. There is plenty of research out there but ultimately, schools need to know how this research translates into practice. Inquiries from schools often start with a request for professional development. We meet our clients where they are and if one day of professional development (PD) is what they want, we find a training solution that meets the objective and is reasonably priced. However, we also manage expectations and let the client know that one day of PD won’t likely change behavior – at least not long-term. So, we hope that these initial PD inquiries develop into longer term relationships where we can stay connected and make lasting changes.
